Support the Carolina Master Chorale
Join Us in Sustaining Musical Excellence
We cordially encourage you to contribute to our Annual Fund and support the Carolina Master Chorale. Your generous donation plays a crucial role in sustaining our choir's legacy and enriching the communities we serve. Every contribution, regardless of size, directly fuels the production of our current concerts and lays the groundwork for future performances.
The Carolina Master Chorale embodies a narrative of artistic brilliance, community engagement, and unwavering dedication. As we embark on our 42nd season, we proudly maintain our status as the longest-standing performing arts organization in the Myrtle Beach area. Your invaluable support, whether through ticket purchases or Annual Fund donations, enables us to deliver unparalleled choral experiences to our vibrant and expanding community. Together, we enhance the cultural landscape of the Grand Strand, creating a more vibrant environment for residents and visitors alike.
What Your Donations Support
The Chorale relies on ticket sales for about 25% of our annual income. As costs continue to rise for essentials like purchasing music and hiring instrumentalists and soloists, our fundraising efforts become increasingly crucial.
Every donation, regardless of size, directly supports our programs. Your contributions enable the Chorale to perform concerts in Myrtle Beach, Conway, Sunset Beach, and other regional locations. They also support our educational outreach in elementary schools and create opportunities for students and faculty at Coastal Carolina University. Additionally, your generosity helps us hire professional soloists and orchestras, participate in community events such as the South Carolina Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, and maintain affordable ticket prices with discounts for seniors, veterans, and students.

The Carolina Master Chorale is a 501(C)3 Nonprofit Arts Organization.
Emeritus Guild
The Carolina Master Chorale Emeritus Guild is open to former singers, their spouses or significant others, and all former volunteers. Membership is open to former singers (and their spouses) who sang at least five seasons with CMC. Volunteers are eligible for membership in the Emeritus Guild if they have served at least 3 years in that capacity.
The purpose of the Emeritus Guild is twofold. First, we want to honor singers and volunteers who have retired from the Carolina Master Chorale. We want to stay in touch with those who have supported us with their time and talents over the years. Second, we want to grow our Carolina Master Chorale Endowment Fund, which is managed by the Waccamaw Community Foundation. All dues paid by Emeritus Guild members go directly to our Endowment Fund and remain intact forever. The earnings from these contributions will help ensure the longevity of the Carolina Master Chorale.
If you are a former singer, spouse of a singer, or former volunteer with the Carolina Master Chorale and wish to get more information about the Emeritus Guild, please contact Rebecca Donevant, Executive Director, at (843) 444-5774.
