Support the Carolina Master Chorale

Join Us in Sustaining Musical Excellence

We invite you to support the Carolina Master Chorale through a gift to our Annual Fund. Every contribution — no matter the size — makes a direct difference, helping to sustain the performances you love today and laying the foundation for the seasons ahead.

Now in our 44th season, the Carolina Master Chorale holds the distinction of being the longest-standing performing arts organization in the Myrtle Beach area. That legacy was built on a deep commitment to artistic excellence, community connection, and the belief that extraordinary choral music belongs to everyone. Whether you support us through ticket purchases, Annual Fund donations, or both, you are an essential part of that story.

Together, we enrich the cultural life of the Grand Strand — for our residents, our visitors, and the generations of music lovers still to come. Thank you for being part of it.

What Your Donations Support

The Carolina Master Chorale relies on ticket sales for approximately 25% of our annual income, which is very typical for performing arts organizations. As costs continue to rise for essentials such as music purchases, venue rentals, and occasional guest artists, our fundraising efforts become increasingly important.

Every donation, regardless of size, directly supports our programs and mission. Your generosity enables the Chorale to present concerts throughout our community and across the region while continuing to expand our educational outreach in local schools and support our outstanding Carolina Youth Chorale.

Contributions also help us participate in important community events, including Veterans Day commemorations and holiday celebrations, while allowing us to maintain affordable ticket prices with discounts for seniors, veterans, and students.

Your Tax-Deductible Gift Makes a Difference

  • A contribution of $30 buys a major choral score for a singer.
  • $250 pays for one evening of rehearsal with our collaborative pianist.
  • $500 pays for a professional instrumentalist.
  • $1,500 pays for an instrumental quartet.
  • $2,500 and above pays for a guest artist.

Friends of the Carolina Master Chorale

Founded in August 2015, the Friends of the Carolina Master Chorale exists to strengthen and sustain the Chorale through community engagement and fundraising. Its mission is to raise awareness, grow concert audiences, and provide meaningful financial support — ensuring that the CMC continues to thrive for years to come. Current efforts are focused on developing both signature and secondary fundraising events that reflect the spirit and stature of the organization.

There are many ways to get involved. Volunteers are needed to help build community support, contribute strategic guidance, and assist with event planning and execution.
