The 2024-2025 Season

PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS

Give the gift of music. For those special occasions, consider giving CMC concert tickets to your friends and family. 2024-2025 individual concert tickets are $25 for an adult, $20 for senior citizens and veterans (with ID), and $5 for students. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are admitted free. 

For purposes of ticket buying, the Chorale defines “students” as those 22 years of age or under who present a student identification issued by the institution in which they are currently enrolled. 2024-2025 special event tickets are priced according to the event. All tickets purchased on the website will be mailed to the purchaser unless the purchaser chooses to print their tickets at home. Tickets purchased less than two weeks prior to the event will be available for pickup at the Will Call table 30 minutes prior to the start of any concert. Tickets will be under the name of the person buying the tickets on the website.

Season Tickets

2024-2025 Subscription Season Tickets are $85 for an adult, $70 for senior citizens and veterans (with ID), and $15 for students. A single-season ticket includes one ticket for each of our four (4) subscription season concerts. Season Ticket sales end on Sunday, 12/20/24 this year. 

Virtual Tickets

2024-2025 Virtual Tickets are $15. If you are unable to join us in person, you may purchase a Virtual Ticket and enjoy our Sunday afternoon concert from the comfort of your home!

Box Office Information

To be admitted, everyone entering the concert must present a valid ticket to an usher at the door for the concert being attended that day. Due to the nature of our nonprofit status, we are unable to issue refunds for unused concert tickets.

Late Arrivals

Doors to the concert hall open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Please plan your trip to arrive at the concert venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. This will allow you plenty of time to park and to be seated before the concert begins. In consideration of the artists and patrons at the concert, late seating will take place during the first appropriate pause in the program.

THE MUSIC OFDAN FORREST

The Carolina Master Chorale performs two major works, “Jubilate Deo” and “Requiem for the Living” by the South Carolinian who has been described as having “an undoubted gift for writing beautiful music that is truly magical” (NY Concert Review), with works hailed as “magnificent, very cleverly constructed sound sculpture” (Classical Voice), and “superb writing, full of spine-tingling moments” (Salt Lake Tribune). Long Bay Symphony Maestro, Charles Jones Evans shares the CMC podium as guest conductor of “Jubilate Deo.”

The winners of the 8th annual Carolina Master Chorale/Coastal Carolina University Student Vocal Competition along with the Carolina Youth Chorale join the CMC for a Broadway holiday extravaganza! Dive into the festive spirit with music for Christmas (and Chanukah!) by Irving Berlin, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn. Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, Jason Robert Brown, from iconic shows, including “Mame!,” “White Christmas,” “She Loves Me,” “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” and many more. Ring in the festive spirit with “Christmas on Broadway!”

LOVE SONGS OF THE FIRST NATION

Creek-Choctaw pianist-conductor Timothy Long, Music Director of Eastman Opera Theatre of the renowned Eastman School of Music and North Carolina Cherokee composer-performer James E. Green for a musical exploration of the music of indigenous composers and performers. The CMC celebrates the artistry and traditions of members of the Lakota, Creek, Choctaw, Muskoke, Stockbridge Munsee, Chickasaw, Cherokee, and Anishinaabe tribes. Mr. Long also plays his own works and accompanies the CMC in a new arrangement of “Rhapsody in Blue (with George and Ira Gershwin),” by CMC pianist, D. Scott Ferguson.

BRAHMS: “A GERMAN REQUIEM”

Maestro Koch concludes his 25th Season with the Carolina Master Chorale, leading the CMC in perhaps the most beloved oratorio in all of music history: “Ein Deutsches Requiem” of Johannes Brahms.  Soprano Shannon Dooley, baritone Jeffrey Jones, and the Long Bay Symphony join Dr. Koch and the Chorale in a spectacular conclusion to a quarter century of great choral music on the Grand Strand.
