Tickets purchased less than two weeks prior to the event will be available for pickup at the Will Call table 30 minutes prior to the start of any concert. Tickets will be under the name of the person buying the tickets on the website.

Please note that there is a small fee for purchasing tickets by credit card.

Box Office Information

To be admitted, everyone entering the concert must present a valid ticket to an usher at the door for the concert being attended that day. Due to the nature of our nonprofit status, we are unable to issue refunds for unused concert tickets.

Late Arrivals

Doors to the concert hall open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Please plan your trip to arrive at the concert venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. This will allow you plenty of time to park and to be seated before the concert begins. Experience a world of song, from Copland’s Old American Songs and African American spirituals to English and Irish folksongs (including Danny Boy), as well as folk melodies from Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and Africa. Iconic inspirational popular songs such as Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing, Imagine and Leonard Cohen’s Halleluia round out the program.

Plus, a musical celebration of Hanukkah, a variety of holiday carols from many cultures, and an audience singalong!

mass appeal

  • April 12, 2025 - 4:00 PM - First Presbyterian Church, 3810 Robert M. Grissom Pkwy., Myrtle Beach, SC

A captivating exploration of one of the most influential musical forms in history—the sacred Mass—and how great composers over the centuries have brought its texts to life, from the austere Renaissance grace of Palestrina to the clear Classical simplicity of Schubert, the epic Romanticism of Bruckner, the English folksong-based style of Vaughan Williams, the lush Neo-Romanticism of Barber (in Agnus Dei, a choral version of his famous Adagio for Strings, heard in the movies Platoon and Outlander) and the bold modernism of Stravinsky. The program concludes with Robert Ray’s joyfully energetic Gospel Mass, blending the traditional mass with a contemporary, soulful musical style.
